The Proposal Zone

This video is part of a proposal-writing program on which I worked. The idea was to create a parody case study of the problems most organizations have with proposal writing, and create a series of videos that run throughout the program, giving the participants characters and a situation on which to focus. This video is the introduction, and introduces our team along with their situation and horrible proposal-writing workflow.

Originally I did this as a storyboard with the intention of shooting a live-action version, but our development team liked it so much and thought it was so much more amusing as a storyboard; that I cleaned it up, colored it, and turned it into a simple animation instead.

The script is by Wendy Ludgewait – I did the audio recording, editing, sound design, art, coloring, animation and editing.
